Merchant Marine Circular No. 265

 

Please find attached copy of MerchantMarine Circular No. 265 recently issued by Panama Maritime Authority (PMA).

Through this circular, the Administration wants to provide a guide with key definitions of the occupational groups that are related to the application of the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006. The aim of this guide is to identify which person or category of persons may be considered “Seafarers” and “Shipowners” for the application of the Convention.
